Custom Menu feature for MistyLook

I spent some time last week and updated the MistyLook theme for use with WordPress 3.0.
One of the cool features that they added in WordPress 3.0 version, is the ability for the users to define their own navigation menu for their sites. It will also make it easy for people to have drop-down menus where child items are listed when hovering over the parent item in the menu.
Of course, the themes have to adapt to support this feature.
I did some research and development into bringing this feature to my already popular MistyLook WordPress Theme. Go ahead, download and Enjoy!

GoodLuck – Very Cool WordPress Theme

GoodLuck is the name I gave for the latest WordPress Theme I released recently on WordPress Theme City.

Header Image

I was really playing with different header images for this theme, but this one perfectly fit the color scheme that I had in mind. The image is a collage of different places in North Carolina.
The header image is created by my friends at HeaderSpot – Free Blog Headers.

Sidebars On Left and Right

With this theme, initially I had planned to have both the sidebars to be on the right, but then there were so many requests [like this one] from people to have a theme with one Sidebar on the left, and another sidebar on the right.
Coming to think about it, I have not created a lot of WordPress Themes with sidebars on both the left and the right. So I changed the design to include that feature.

Final Touches

Almost when I was ready to release the theme, I thought it would add a nice touch if we have “the search box” and “the feed link”, somewhere on the header. So I included them as well.

Overall, I am more than happy with the way this theme looks and works. Try the demo, Download It and install on your self hosted WordPress blogs. I am sure you would love this theme as much as I do.

I called my new theme as “Chennai”

I just released a new theme “Chennai” on WordPress Theme City.

Chennai is a two column WordPress Theme with “Custom Image Header” and support for Tags, Gravatar, Multi-threaded and Multi Paged comments. Please click on the image on the right, to go to the theme page and download it.
The image on the header is a place called “Mahabalipuram“, which is a famous place for Temple, built in seventh century.
