Image upload in 2.8.3

I was trying to add an image to a post in a new blog v. 2.8.3 and the image upload did not work until I reverted back to the WP default template. Tried both the flash and browser upload feature. The file name flashed briefly in the media upload window, then disappeared.

I don't know if this is a theme issue or a WP issue as I'm also having problems getting the auto upgrade feature to work to upgrade to 2.8.3. The image issue was in a new blog that I installed as 2.8.3, but I haven't been able to upgrade my other blogs. WP2.6 and image floats

With clean install of WordPress 2.6, images do not center in MistyLook using the built-in image routines of the WP admin.
Images will not center or float right with GreenFlower.
However, with the default WP theme, images will float left, right and center as expected.
Using PHP5, if it matters.
Only 2 plugins installed: drop-down admin menus and reveal post id's.
Can be seen at http://www.stirredspirit.com .
Any idea what I can modify to make image placement work?

How to Change Color Headline H2?

First: great theme Sadish!

I have 3 questions:

1. How do I change color of the headline of each page/blog post to red without also changing the color of the links?

2. How do I automatically apply "justify" to all my posts without having to do it manually in wordpress?

3. I would prefer unvisited links in blue, and visited links in purple. Which color scheme would you recommend that would fit the rest of the theme?

Does Paalam currently support the new custom menu feature in WP 3.0? If not, any plans to update that theme, or should I consider using another one?

Facebook share addtoany donesn't show images

I've added the addtoany to every post in the blog: http://parisrivedroiterivegauche.com, we can access the page just before sharing but rhe image doesn't show. On the FAQ they say:
