One of the cool features that they added in WordPress 3.0 version, is the ability for the users to define their own navigation menu for their sites. It will also make it easy for people to have drop-down menus where child items are listed when hovering over the parent item in the menu.
Of course, the themes have to adapt to support this feature.

The image on the header is a place called “Mahabalipuram“, which is a famous place for Temple, built in seventh century.

  1. Cutline Theme supports rotating header image, but it not the same as what we are discussing on this post. We are talking about the custom header image feature, where people upload their own image within the WordPress admin, and then they crop the image to fit the header size and then apply that image.

In fact, all my popular WordPress Themes like MistyLook, NigaRila, PalNila etc have this feature built into this theme.
All you have to do is, login to your WordPress, go to Presentation / Design and look for the option called “Custom Image Header”. Here you will be able to upload your own image, crop its size to fit your theme and save it. It shows up on your site’s header automatically.

I would like to know how many of you are actually using feature?.
If it is used by a lot of people, why is it not a popular feature in themes done by other people? Please post your thoughts on this.
