Stay away from wpthemes360.com
Recently one of the forum members reported that they have seen some hidden encrypted links in the footer of the theme.
Actually, I would never ever add any encrypted links to my themes. Only a few of my themes are sponsored themes and even those links are just plain text links. They are not encrypted.
It really aggravates me so much whenever I see someone who takes my themes, add their own sponsor links and release them for people to download. It is against what my license page demands.
The most recent website that I found out was wpthemes360.com. They are bad, immoral and are like parasites to live on other people’s work. Please stay away from wpthemes360.com.
Always download my themes from my websites only. If you ever see my themes listed elsewhere, please report it to me. Thanks.

# jdrsantoson 08 Sep 2008 at 9:55 amHi, Sadish.
For me it is inqualificable when someone gets profit from work of another.
I am using the public remarks on Diigo community for WordPress with a sticky note in this post and another on their site informing everybody about this.
I like your themes very much.
Please keep the good work.
best regards,
RdS
# Sadishon 08 Sep 2008 at 12:02 pmThanks RdS for posting about this on Diigo. It really helps in spreading the message to a bigger audience.
Thank you,
Sadish
# Gordonon 09 Sep 2008 at 8:58 amSadish,
I also found the problem and assumed it was you. My apologies. The good news is that I made a donation at your site as I was modifying the theme for a client and am now trying to figure out if I’ll break anything yanking the footer link mentioned above.
Is it fair to say I can simply copy your theme footer into the downloaded theme and not bother updating all the code?
I don’t mind leaving a link in there to your site Sadish; I just need to add my own as well.
Also, I’ve put up a copy of MU for my local community that will be personal, non-profit and commercial blogs. If you have a moment I wonder if we might talk about using your suite of templates.

# Sadishon 09 Sep 2008 at 9:21 amGordon,
as long as you made a donation, you are free to remove the footer link on one website.
Shoot me a private email using the contact page http://wprocks.com/contact/ about using my themes for your mu sites.
Thanks
Sadish
# Avion 14 Sep 2008 at 4:03 pmI am afraid I have to tell you that I noticed the same problem on
wpthemeswizard DOT com.
The invisible footer links are even coded. Means if you open the footer.php you see just some strange code. The theme intense I am using has the number 570 there.
They did it even with your themes, for example intense.

# Robon 19 Nov 2008 at 9:46 amI think it’s absolutely awful that some people are not content with passing off your work as their own, but that they are intent on being subversive and underhand with those people that they are passing your work onto.
Outrageous.
Your work should be cited as such and should not be attributed to any other.
I have just (last week) put up a site using the Misty theme, however it is an old server and I can’t use one of the new versions of wordpress. The majority of it seems to work, though I did have to take out the TAGS section as my wordpress version didn’t support it.
If I can make it work out, I shall definitely be back to make my contribution to your hard work.
Thank you.
# Sadishon 21 Nov 2008 at 10:18 amThanks for the nice words Rob.
It is the kind of support from people like you, that helps in keeping the same energy and motivation in me, to keep giving back to the community.
