Yes, WordPress Version 2.6 is already here.
First thing is, all the themes that are created by me, either free or Premium would just work fine in the new version of WordPress.
Some of the major improvements in this version include
- Theme Preview – Now you will be able to preview a theme on your site, before activating it as your current theme
- Post Revisions – Now you can track different versions of a post, useful especially if the same post is edited by multiple authors.
- Image Upload Management – A completely revamped image control to allow for easier inserting, floating, and resizing. It’s now fully integrated with the WYSIWYG.
- and a lot more extra features and fixes.
